MATHEMATICS CURRICULUM
Throughout the year, we will be learning the skills needed to apply critical thinking skills to real world math problems.
Illustrative Mathematics is a problem-based core curriculum for the 21st century learners designed to address content and practice standards to foster learning for all, preparing students to solve problems, reason, communicate, and think critically in the classroom and beyond. Also, teachers will be able to shift their instruction and facilitate students learning with high-leverage routines to guide learners to understand and make connections between concepts and procedures.

Hello everyone this is my first year at TAG and words couldn't express how happy I'm for this opportunity! My biggest goal and hope for this coming school year is to form a safe environment that gives everyone the opportunity to express their self while learning to be mathematicians. For this upcoming year students will begin to construct and critique mathematical problems while being able to explain verbally and written.
